You will have exclusive access to the entire 850 acre property. Which means you and your guests are the only ones here (aside from our staff). So, relax, explore the forest, fish the lake, get a massage, and have fun without worrying about disturbing other guests.
Vanderkamp can host up to 160 guests indoors, 200+ outdoors and sleep up to 45 across five lodges, perfect for your wedding party and out of town guests.

Exchange your vows surrounded by pine trees and twinkly lights at the Hidden Forest Stage for a unique immersive experience. Say “I Do” at the waterfront of a 50 acre private lake for those iconic outdoor photos or in front of a cozy fire in the comfort of Kempwick Lounge.
VK staff and partners will be available to you each step of the way to make sure your day and your guest experience is flawless.

Kempwick Lounge
Kempwick Commons provides a rustic indoor wedding venue experience with plenty of space to host celebrations both large and small. The Lounge Room is featured in the image above and offers an intimate fireside experience while The Hall is much larger and comes attached to a commercial kitchen.

Waterfront at Frank
This waterfront wedding venue is for ceremonies only but it allows you to gather with friends and family at the edge of Vanderkamp Lake to exchange your vows. Perfect for capturing beautiful photos of your special day, this location offers a short walk for the wedding party from the attached Frank Soule Lodge.

Hidden Forest Stage
The Hidden Forest Stage is tucked behind the towering pine trees of Vanderkamp’s past and offers the perfect rustic wedding venue for those looking to immerse in the natural world for their celebration. The Gazebo & The Lawn
The Gazebo is located in the clearing between Kempwick and VK Lake. It's the perfect location for the best outdoor wedding venue in Syracuse. The surrounding lawn can host outdoor tents for large wedding receptions and our massive sunken fire pit is the perfect compliment to evening festivities.
Lodging
Vanderkamp offers 5 different lodging experiences. From intimate cabins in the woods to vintage inspired manor houses with stunning lake views, there’s something for everyone.
With the ability to accommodate 45 guests on site, you‘re able to host and have many of your guests stay on-property for your special weekend.
Lodge types vary and are priced between $300- $1,000+ per night depending on the lodge and the time of year.

Event Space
Kempwick Commons will be your main gathering point throughout your wedding weekend.
The Lounge offers an intimate nature inspired design that is perfect for your dinner on Friday night and rearrange the furniture to operate as a bar and lounge during the reception.
The Kempwick Commons Hall was renovated to accommodate your perfect nature inspired reception. With a unique feature wall, wood beams, polished concrete floors, a wall of windows looking out to the forest, and a built in photobooth wall its the ideal place to celebrate.
The Gazebo is located in the clearing between Kempwick Commons and Frank Soule Lodge, and it’s the perfect location for your cocktail hour. The lawn that surrounds the area can host tents for outdoor wedding receptions and our large sunken fire pit is the perfect compliment to evening festivities.
